- SCORING LEVEL All team managers will be responsible to see that the score remains at a sporting level (no more than a six (6) point spread). Continued failure to do so will result in team ejection from the league.
- SPIRIT OF THE GAME Violations of the Spirit of the Game (see Section IV) will be punished with up to a permanent suspension from the ICWSL.
- ICWSL DEFINITION OF "SPIRIT OF THE GAME"
- When arriving at a ball the same time as goalkeeper the field player must relinquish the ball, without contact, to the goalkeeper.
- Dissent and questioning the officials will not be tolerated.
- Arguing with or making unsporting comments to the opponent will not be tolerated.
- All players must play up or down to the skill level of their competitors, both individually as well as a team.
- Egos must be left at home. This is a family oriented league and children are often on the sidelines listening and watching our examples.
- If a player knocks over another, stop and pick the player up, and apologize, even if this means you must give up possession of the ball.
- Compliment good soccer on both sides!
- If a team is up 4 goals, all less experienced players must be put on the front lines and utilized. All experienced players must make every effort to pass the ball to the less experienced players, offering them an opportunity to improve and get more touches on the ball. This improves team unity, ability, and morale.
- If a player joins this league only to win, theyve joined the wrong league!! Were here for fun, friendly, competition and camaraderie and to teach new players to play the game.
